Made some progress with Fingerer on the Pico this morning, playing it via MIDI through a VL70 sound module with continuous breath pressure to modulate notes. Quick demo... http://www.lemontiger.co.uk/Audio/picojazz.mp3 (Another thing that's puzzling me is that if you look at Stage for the "Midi Out" setup, there's a tab for the two MIDI outputs, but this is missing for the Fingerer setup.) Really starting to enjoy this thing now...just discovered how to use yaw for vibrato. Didn't even realise the VL70 had it. :-) http://www.lemontiger.co.uk/Audio/picojazz.mp3

Hi all - the O ring has worn out on my Pico. Minimum order from the website is £19.60, but I only paid £100 for the instrument, so just wondering if anyone here has a couple spare for a tenner?

I've just been experimenting with Fingerer, which is brilliant, and recreated a Pico version of the fingering I use on the Akai EWI. It's given me access to over three continuous chromatic octaves pretty quickly, so I'm quite pleased with that. (Here's a quick demo. I've added the fingering file under the EVI thread on the forum.) Works fine with the clarinet, but when I tried editing the VST in the same way it didn't work at all. Would you expect it to ...? I'm new to this so I'm a bit confused how it's all set up...eg when using the clarinet I see stuff like breath compression in Stage, but the settings under the VST tab are completely different, and it's not there...? http://www.lemontiger.co.uk/audio/PicoDemo.mp3

Hi all - I recently picked up a secondhand Pico and I'm looking for portable solutions.

Hi all - I recently picked up a secondhand Pico and I'm looking for portable solutions. I'm hoping I can use it with a 2GB Windows 8 Linx tablet via its micro-USB, but I'm thinking I might need to supplement the power, perhaps with a Y-cable and a USB power pack. Has anyone got a Pico running on a small Windows tablet...? Seems like a natural fit, but I've seen no mention of it...
