Has anyone used Apple Mainstage with MIDI input from EigenD?

Has anyone used Apple Mainstage with MIDI input from EigenD?  I presume that, since it's a derivative of Logic, it supports note-per-channel MIDI?  If anyone's used it do you find it stable?  I'm thinking of spending the 20 quid and having a play as a setup where I just want to start up and play but have the option to record if required. I've seen a couple of threads complaining about latency issues, so don't want to bother if it's a complete waste of money, but on the face of it it looks pretty good.

Plans for another Eigenharp/EigenD DevCon

Plans for another Eigenharp/EigenD DevCon Hi everyone, John is considering organizing another Eigenharp DevCon late 2014 or early 2015. It would be in Dartmoor, UK again, same location as before. Now that EigenD is open-source and there have been major external developments done by Mark Harris, this time around might be more productive than the one from 2012. You'd be responsible for your own travel costs, but accommodation would be offered. Everyone would obviously have to chip in for food, last time we hired a chef for a few days and split the bill, it was well worth it. Please let me know if you're interested.

EigenD - Yosemite (OSX 10.10)

EigenD - Yosemite (OSX 10.10) ========================= Given the deluge of product notifications regarding Yosemite, I wondered if anyone is using EigenD on 10.10? any new issues? has any developer tried to build it on 10.10 yet? Personally, I'm not upgrading for a while yet, but might be useful for other users to know if its 'safe' to upgrade or not.

Finally, got to a stage where I think I can say I don't have audio dropouts. so thought Id make a list of what I did.

Question

Question Hello,  I wanted to know if you could help me figure something out... I would like to create 2 independent keygroups on the Pico. (Right hand and Left Hand). (first 4 rows of 2)  I would like the possibility of sending midi out separately from each keygroup so that I can assign different midi plugins to group. (one for chords and the other for octave rounding..for example).   I have been trying to figure it out myself but i am having difficulty understanding the difference between, musical mapping, physical mapping and courses.. I know its possible, i just dont know how...  I also how could i assign each group to a different scale selecting button in stage?   thanks in advance!

It's baaack!

It's baaack! Got stuck in customs both directions, needing documentation proving that it's duty-free repair/return; but otherwise, all better. Wayne even polished all the silver between the keys. Looks almost new.

The saga of the eBay Alpha continues.

The saga of the eBay Alpha continues.    It appears that someone dropped this alpha and it fell onto something rather hard.  Broken wire connection to course 2, and two keys in course 5 with damaged springs (that were still playable, but with reduced range and sensitivity.) Probably some kind of hard edge strike. Crazy.  Don't drop your alpha's, folks. ;-)

I'm going to have to sell my Pico.

I'm going to have to sell my Pico. It's silver and in perfect working order, but I just don't have time for it and it could have a far better home. Plus then I could spend the money on instruments I do use… Located in the UK. Anyone interested before I post it more widely?

Plenty of Medieval moments some with an Eigenharp Alpha ;-)
