macOS Sierra EDIT: decided to take the plunge, so providing feedback here anyone tried running EigenD on Sierra yet? Im considering upgrading my MBP for dev/testing purposes. (whilst leaving my main iMac on 10.11.6 for the foreseeable future) Just wondering how much 'pain' I'm likely to encounter... of course, on the flip side, if EigenD is acting up, then it might need fixing... so I guess I should upgrade. thoughts, issues,experiences? Mark I'll keep this post updated with what I find etc. STATUS: (tested with MBP / 10.12.0 /EigenD Community 2.1.2) - Initial test with Pico - things seem ok. (EigenD/WB/Stage) - Initial test with Alpha - looks good, but still has the audio dropouts on the headphone. - Apple seem to have fixed the El Capitan crash issue when unplugging devices!

Ableton Link SDK open sourced. Ableton have released the SDK for the desktop (as well as iOS) under GPL... so that means we could integrate it into an EigenD agent... Im thinking possibly as a metronome replacement. not only useful for synchronisation with Ableton but also lots of iOS apps, and also Reason 9.1/Max... (and whoever else chooses to support, lets hope for wider desktop adoption!)

Spectrasonics Keyscape is being released today. I note that it requires a 64-bit host (though thankfully the content is also exposed through Omnisphere2 which can run in a 32bit host). Has anyone managed to get a working 64bit version of EigenD yet?

FXpansion bought by Roli I guess not entirely surprising, Roli have lots of money to invest, and they worked with FXpansion before Equator. Good news for MPE support, Strobe already has voice per channel, but Im sure Roli will ask them to make it properly MPE compatible. lets hope they don't consume FXpansion for its programmers, and take all the synths to be Seaboard only (like Equator)! on the positive side, perhaps with a software synth arm, this might give them the incentive to release Equator as a standalone product. https://fxpansion.com/news/fxpansion-joins-roli/ https://fxpansion.com/news/fxpansion-joins-roli/
