NEW FROM HAKEN AUDIO: The ContinuuMini The ContinuuMini shares some features with the Continuum Fingerboard but is less expenstve: (1) Temporal Accuracy - 700^Sec (NB: mechanical feel of the Mini is quite different). (2) Pressure Sensitivity - Halt effect sensors (uses only four; has lesser dynamic range). (3) Onset Fine Structure - Reports attack trajectory, not just a 7-bit "strike" value. (4) Pitch Sensitivity - Can roll fingers for super-fine pitch adjustments. (5) EaganMatrix Synthesis - Tight timbre feedback loop (ideally, customize presets for Mini) The ContinuuMini's polyphony and computation power is the same as a L2x Continuum. January... oldest Pico is now 7 years; funny coincidences, got them all around January dates. To me, they always feel "fresh" as day one. Today I use the black one in the show "IMAGINI" but it's the Haken Continuum that is sort of the star. Double-Pico with the two silver but they go along nicely complementing other setups. (One side by side with the Continuum, have to think about the other near the LinnnStrument)... ideas.
